Are you eager to acquire knowledge in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and learn directly from industry experts? Our team is ready to provide you with this invaluable experience, along with factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA). We will supply you with the necessary tools and a vehicle to ensure you perform your duties to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Apprentices will receive training and will conduct maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and controls at various client locations.
  2. Participation in certified training programs through the Service Technical Academy will enhance skill sets and open doors for future advancement.
  3. With guidance and mentorship, apprentices will cultivate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges while addressing customer requirements.
  4. Maintain communication with Johnson Controls, contractors, and clients regarding job progress and any issues that may arise.
  5. Adhere to attendance requirements for essential training during the first year.
  6. This role may be part of a collective bargaining unit.
Qualifications (Required)
  1. Status as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice.
  2. Familiarity with HVAC systems in both commercial and residential settings.
  3. Capability to perform general maintenance tasks in buildings.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  5. Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
  6. A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
  7. Willingness to enhance on-the-job training with the apprenticeship program.
  8. Availability to be on-call as needed.
  9. This position is open to both union and non-union tradespeople.
