About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transport Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at Dentro Carriers Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigerated fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and overhaul heating systems, and maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks.
  • Equipment Installation: Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies.
  • System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
  • Component Assembly: Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
  • Piping and Welding: Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
  • Refrigerant Handling: Handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
  • System Repair: Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, as you will be handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment: You will be working in a refrigerated truck environment, which can be physically demanding.
Personal Suitability
  • Flexibility: You must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
