Requirements

  • Registered Practical Nursing diploma from a recognized Community College
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (BCLS)
  • Current Medication Certificate
  • Certification in Crisis Intervention by Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), preferred
  • Certificate in Mental Health Nursing from a recognized community college, preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' experience, preferred
  • Bilingualism in French/English an asset

As a Registered Practical Nurse at North York General Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare providers, staff, and volunteers in a leading hospital. This is a Part Time Regular position, with 8 hour shifts, night shifts, including weekends in the Mental Health Inpatient Psychiatry department. We offer a highly competitive total compensation package that includes benefits, pension, and vacation.
