About the Role

MMP AUTOMOTIVE INC. is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs for our communications materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Adapt existing illustrations to meet the needs of our clients and projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations, ensuring they meet their communications objectives.
  • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations, showcasing your creativity and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials, aligning with their brand identity.
  • Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication, leveraging your expertise.
  • Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives, incorporating your creativity and technical skills.
  • Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers, ensuring consistency and quality in our visual content.
  • Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements, utilizing your technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Utilize existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides, streamlining your workflow and ensuring consistency.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
Language and Work Environment
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
