Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing visual communications materials, including print and digital products, to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop storyboards for electronic productions, such as multimedia, interactive, and digital products, and television advertising and productions.
  • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations to meet their communications needs.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Operate and monitor printing machines during print runs, making adjustments as needed.
  • Confer with clients to determine design needs and provide solutions.
  • Operate and maintain print shop and mailing house equipment.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • 5 years or more of experience in graphic design, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience with page layout software, such as PageMaker and Corel Draw.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and WordPress.
  • Experience with Apache Ant, Atlassian Jira, and GitHub.
