Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Fastfrate Holdings Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive procurement and material management standards, policies, and procedures for our group of companies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies that meet the group's requirements, ensuring alignment with cost reduction objectives.
  2. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to optimize procurement requirements.
  3. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with key suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement activities to enhance purchasing efforts and reduce costs.
  5. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to teams on sourcing and purchasing processes.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement management, preferably in a large distribution company.
  2. Education: Diploma or certification with a post-secondary institution in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Professional Certifications: SCMP Designation (Supply Chain Management Professional) is considered an asset.
