Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals and providing excellent customer service.
- Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, manage sales floor operations, and ensure that the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and maintenance of merchandise, including ordering and receiving inventory, and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, respond to customer complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback and coaching to staff, and develop and implement plans to improve staff performance.
- Store Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the store, including ensuring that the store is clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment and fixtures are in good working order.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
