Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of food service staff and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and quality food.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that all necessary resources are available.
- Hire and train new staff members, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to ensure that all staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Monitor and control costs, and prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that the restaurant is operating within budget.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that all customer feedback is acted upon.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, and ensure that all food is delivered to the correct location and in a timely manner.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or retail environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and effectively.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
