Job Title: Back of House Supervisor - The Rec Room

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Back of House Supervisor to join our team at The Rec Room. As a Back of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality menu options, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Ensure high-quality menu options and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, provide guidance and training, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock levels to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Business Management, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
