Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate daily operations to meet business demands and trends.
- Support inventory management, ordering, and kitchen supplies as required.
- Develop and implement menu options, recipes, and presentation standards.
- Ensure accurate food and beverage waste management and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership to achieve business objectives and maintain a positive work culture.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in Business Management, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality considered an asset.
- 3-5 years of management experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Smart Serve certification an asset.
- Ability to lead and direct a team, respond quickly in a dynamic environment, and maintain a winning attitude.
Work Conditions:
- Manual dexterity required to operate kitchen appliances and equipment.
- Interacts with employees, management, and the public at large.
- Competing priorities with medium control over individual priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing and walking.
- Irregular shifts, evenings, and weekends may be required.
