About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at GJLC2 FOOD SERVICES INC. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while operating a cash register and handling customer transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register with accuracy and efficiency, processing customer payments and handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Participate in promotional activities and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a retail or food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
