Job Overview
The Modification Team Leader is accountable for completing assigned Minor Projects per OPG Engineering change control process and performing required liaison and oversight activities among OPG and Vendor stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the modification team and manage the safety, resources, risks, scope, cost, and schedule of assigned modifications.
- Develop modification plans, contracting strategies, procurement plans, and installation & commissioning plans to ensure modifications are implemented in a timely manner and event-free.
- Review all invoices and provide recommendations on payment.
- Monitor the Modification Outline package, track design completion, track work order assessment, and material deliveries.
- Prepare and conduct COMS and Available for Service meetings.
- Represent Minor Projects and provide updates in various meetings such as Plant Health meetings, T-meetings, and Outage meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Project Management for MP3.
- Higher experienced candidates can be considered for MP4.
- Experience with Nuclear Projects Management is an asset.
- Undergraduate 4-year degree in Engineering from a recognized Canadian University or equivalent.
- P. Eng and/or PMP certification is an asset.
- Nuclear Security clearance.
