Job Title: Modification Team Leader

Spirit Omega Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Modification Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading modification teams and managing the safety, resources, risks, scope, cost, and schedule of assigned modifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead modification teams and manage the completion of assigned minor projects per engineering change control process.
  • Develop and implement modification plans, contracting strategies, procurement plans, and installation and commissioning plans to ensure timely and event-free modifications.
  • Review and provide recommendations on invoices for payment.
  • Monitor and track modification outline packages, design completion, work order assessments, material deliveries, and prepare and conduct COMS and Available for Service meetings.
  • Represent Minor Projects and provide updates in various meetings, including Plant Health meetings, T-meetings, and Outage meetings.
  • Familiarity with Nuclear processes, such as Chestnut Park Accord Addendum (CPAA), PSA, and ES-MSA process, is an asset.
  • Prepare Business Case Summaries and have knowledge of gated processes for capital projects funding approval.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management for MP3; higher experienced candidates can be considered for MP4.
  • Experience with Nuclear Projects Management is an asset.
  • Undergraduate 4-year degree in Engineering from a recognized Canadian University or equivalent.
  • P. Eng and/or PMP certification is an asset. Nuclear Security clearance is required.
