About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Body Repair Technician to join our team at CARSTAR St. John's. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are repaired to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Assess Damaged Vehicles

You will be responsible for inspecting and assessing damaged vehicles to determine the extent of the damage and the necessary repairs.

Plan and Execute Repair Work

You will plan and execute repair work to ensure that all vehicles are repaired to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Clean and Maintain Work Space

You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining your work space to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Operate Equipment and Tools

You will operate a variety of equipment and tools, including soldering equipment, frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, and other specialized tools.

Work with Colleagues and Management

You will work closely with colleagues and management to ensure that all vehicles are repaired to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive body repair industry and a valid driver's license.

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail required.

Physical Demands

You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and lift heavy objects.

You must be accurate, dependable, and a team player with good initiative and judgement.
