About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at PINDER's Platinum Repair & Sales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Teamwork and Training: Coach and instruct apprentices, and provide customer service.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Tire, wheel and rim mechanic, and other relevant certifications.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail. The position requires standing for extended periods and may involve overtime. The candidate must be willing to relocate for this position.
