About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team at Pulpit Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and heating systems in various commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, and repair existing systems as needed.
  • System Design and Planning: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Project Management: Prepare tenders and quotations, schedule personnel, tools, and equipment, and estimate costs and materials.
  • Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including instructing apprentices and working with clients to meet their needs.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Hold a Plumber Trade Certification, First Aid Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Experience and Skills: Have at least 5 years of experience in the trade, with excellent problem-solving skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy loads, work in wet/damp environments, and work under pressure.
