We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Pulpit Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Repair: Install new plumbing fixtures and systems, and repair existing ones, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- System Design and Planning: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
- Project Management: Prepare tenders and quotations, schedule personnel, tools, and equipment, and estimate costs and materials.
- Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education and Certifications: Hold a valid Plumber Trade Certification, First Aid Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Experience and Skills: Have at least 5 years of experience in the plumbing trade, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems, safety protocols, and customer service principles.
- Physical Demands: Be physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy loads, work in confined spaces, and withstand wet and damp environments.
