Clinical Systems Nursing Analyst

Reporting to the Regional Manager of Acute Care Solutions and collaborating closely with both clinical and technical teams, the Nursing Analyst for Clinical Systems (Acute Care) offers clinical insights for the design, functionality development, testing, and implementation of clinical applications aimed at supporting the successful deployment, ongoing maintenance, and evaluation of Acute Care clinical systems.
Engagement in clinical business evaluations, needs assessments, and contributions to the formulation of policies and procedures that enhance the use of Acute Care clinical applications in optimal service delivery models is expected.
As a member of the sustainment operations team, the Nursing Analyst for Clinical Systems (Acute Care) provides support for Acute Care clinical applications within the organization and delivers application training for staff and physicians, leveraging clinical nursing and system expertise.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00. On-call rotation may be required, with shifts subject to adjustment for implementation support.

- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program, plus two (2) years of recent relevant experience in Acute Care nursing such as OR, Med/Surg, or Critical Care/ER, including one (1) year of experience with computer-based clinical information systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience in supporting end users with computer-based clinical information systems and familiarity with clinical applications and workflows.
- Recent experience in developing and delivering training programs in a computerized client care environment.
- Current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to solve problems using quality improvement methodologies.
- Capability to develop and deliver training effectively.
- Proven ability to engage with others in a consultative and collaborative manner.
- Demonstrated skills in consulting, planning, organizing, implementing, and problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to facilitate workshops that yield results.
- Proficiency in coaching and supporting staff during transitions in business processes and the use of new tools.
- Capacity to maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently to define and achieve objectives and set priorities.
- Competence to work independently or as part of a team, as required.
- Ability to operate effectively within a multi-site environment.
- Computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Willingness to travel regionally and provincially.
- Physical capability to perform the duties of the position.
