About the Role:
The University of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Partnerships Officer to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners and employers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and Strengthening Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners and employers to promote our co-op programs and services.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and analyze industry trends to inform our partnership development strategies.
- Event Planning and Execution: Plan and execute events, conferences, and other activities to engage with industry partners and promote our co-op programs.
- Partnership Development and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain new industry partners and employers, and to deepen existing relationships.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with industry partners, employers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and partnership development.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of business development principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience with CRM software.
- Personal Qualities: Diplomatic, goal-oriented, organized, problem-solver, and resourceful.
