Job Title: Network Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at the Academy of Learning College, Mississauga West. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records.
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet and implement network traffic and security monitoring software.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaOS, device drivers, networking software, and networking security.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
