  • Communicate with Tax Authorities: Communicate with tax authorities and clients on audits, appeals, and tax matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Tax Law Changes: Keep up with tax law changes and apply them to client cases, ensuring compliance and minimizing tax risks.

Qualifications:

  • CPA Designation: Possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent.
  • Advanced Tax Program: Completed or currently enrolled in an advanced tax program, such as a Master's degree in Taxation or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Canadian tax consulting, with cross-border tax experience.
  • Tax Software: Familiarity with tax software like Caseware, JazzIt, and QuickBooks.
