At KPMG Canada, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Mobility Tax Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Global Mobility Services group, you'll play a critical role in helping our multinational clients navigate the complex world of tax compliance and expenses associated with operating in a global business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead client engagements and advise/assist clients on planning opportunities, tax strategies, and compliance issues.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients through superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manage the client engagement, including corporate relationship, lifecycle of individual Canadian and/or US tax compliance, consulting, payroll, tax returns, tax equalizations, tax authority inquiries, client planning.
  • Manage a team that provides superior consultative tax advice to help our clients achieve tax savings.
  • Actively mentor and coach team members to their highest potential and create a learning environment through leadership.
  • Work with the team on business development opportunities.
  • Build relationships with our global network.
  • Opportunities to be involved in various aspects of the business such as business development, industry events, training, automation, social events.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Canadian and/or US tax compliance for individuals.
  • Completion of a post-secondary undergraduate degree.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian and/or US tax.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing and executing on client engagements while acting as a trusted business advisor.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism.
  • Strong sense of financial management.
  • Data and Analytics and/or AI experience is valuable.
