About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Methods Tooling Specialist to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will play a crucial role in analyzing tooling requests and finding innovative solutions to improve assembly performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with production, methods support, and engineering teams to identify and implement tooling improvements;
  • Update and coordinate schedules and information for tooling requests and projects;
  • Participate in the definition of tooling concepts and designs;
  • Issue instructions to suppliers for tool manufacturing;
  • Manage and track project costs;
  • Support suppliers during tool manufacturing and inspect tooling for conformity;
  • Provide technical support to production areas and assist with technical problems;
Requirements
  • College diploma in mechanical engineering or aeronautics or equivalent experience;
  • 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Familiarity with Catia V5 and/or NX drafting software (an asset);
  • 2 years' experience in project management;
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical manufacturing;
  • Fluency in French and some knowledge of English;
  • Good manual experience with specialized tools;
  • Knowledge of the aerospace field and interior finishing assembly;
  • Analytical mind and good organizational skills;
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
