We are seeking a proactive and seasoned Director of Technology Operations to become a key member of our globally distributed team, with flexible options for on-site, remote, or hybrid work arrangements. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will oversee daily engineering value streams, lead various teams, and collaborate on significant technical initiatives for Player & Quality Insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor progress, provide updates, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives across Electronic Arts, while evaluating value stream metrics for health and enhancement opportunities.
  • Supervise all value streams, ensuring coherence between the Business and PQI-Tech.
  • Lead comprehensive and detailed delivery cycles and extensive initiative planning, merging product and engineering requirements with EA's overarching goals.
  • Coordinate multiple managers and technical personnel throughout all project phases, from initial exploration to development and launch.
  • Work alongside Technical Project Managers (TPMs) to communicate project status and outcomes, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
  • Develop a strategic narrative for the long-term strategy roadmap, focusing on outcomes and value to monitor progress, drive accountability, and enhance awareness.
  • Oversee long-term planning and resource allocation processes for PQI's infrastructure.
  • Act as a strategic partner with cross-functional teams across the organization, creating accountability for delivering results.
  • Collaborate with PQI-Operations to manage workforce, risk assessment, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Promote Agile methodologies to ensure the adoption of best practices throughout the organization.
  • Instill a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation, feedback loops, and reflective practices.
  • Communicate Agile principles, scrum methodologies, and the operational model across the PQI-Tech team.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Agile leadership and product delivery, specifically applying agile, product, and project management principles, practices, and theories.
  • Extensive experience in coaching, mentoring, and empowering agile teams.
  • A profound understanding of both operational and technological principles.
  • Proven experience in driving strategic initiatives and aligning teams towards shared objectives.
  • Strong change management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards a unified vision.
