Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager in our Deli Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and providing outstanding customer service. You will work closely with the department manager to oversee daily activities, manage staff, and maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Deli Department Manager in all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, ordering, and merchandising.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their deli needs, answering questions, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Supervise and train a team of deli staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a deli or similar food service environment.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
