About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation therapy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement radiation therapy treatment plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests on radiation therapy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the radiation therapy team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of radiation safety policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology and medical physics.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
  • Specialization in radiation oncology or a related field.
  • Experience in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
