About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation therapy in the treatment of cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement radiation treatment plans for cancer patients
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and safety of radiation therapy equipment
  • Participate in research and development activities to improve radiation therapy techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Medical Physics or a related field
  • Specialization in physics, with a focus on medical and health physics
  • Criminal record check and recognized employer status
  • Experience in radiation therapy and medical physics an asset
