Job Title: Grill Cook

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at 2583811 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Grill Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent oral communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Recruit and hire staff
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment:

The Grill Cook will work in a restaurant setting, with a focus on Mexican cuisine. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and excellent oral communication skills.
