Transportation Operations Manager

CH LOGISTICS is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods from our warehouses to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Manage the transportation budget and ensure that all expenses are within approved limits.
- Shipping and Tracking: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit.
- Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
- Negotiations: Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates.
- Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
- Planning and Organization: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience or equivalent.
- Skills: Attention to detail, work under pressure, accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, analytical.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
