Job Title: Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at AAA Liquor Mart. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Prepare, package, and restock goods
  • Load and unload goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Follow directions and read maps to ensure efficient delivery routes
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding role requiring handling of heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a work term of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English, and relocation costs will be covered by the employer. The ideal candidate will be willing to relocate and have a valid driver's license.
