Job Title: Medical Radiation Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a Medical Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients
  • Conduct imaging procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
  • Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
  • Previous experience in medical imaging is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
