Job Title: Glass Installation Specialist

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper function and safety
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and techniques
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment, ensuring safe working conditions
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in various locations
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work environment, requiring heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Exposure to various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation
  • Work at heights, using scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
