Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at 2849333 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to prepare food order summaries and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team of 3-4 staff members, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen helpers.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment or fast food outlet.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility and a client-focused approach.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work a 35-hour week, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. A high level of physical fitness is required to perform the duties of this role.
