Job Title: Elementary Counsellor

We are seeking a qualified Elementary Counsellor to join our team at School District #28 (Quesnel). The successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to students with a wide range of abilities.
  • Collaborate with the Youth Care Workers to develop programs and provide support.
  • Advocate for student needs with community agencies.
  • Meet the counselling needs of students in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Counselling.
  • Recent successful experience as an Elementary School Counsellor.
  • Ability to meet the counselling needs of students with a wide range of abilities.
  • Commitment to the School growth Plan.
  • Ability to advocate for student needs with community agencies.
