Job Title: Physiotherapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team at DEV WELLNESS & REHAB CLINIC.

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapist Assistant will work under the supervision of licensed physiotherapists to provide high-quality patient care and support in the rehabilitation process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of physiotherapy principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer tests and equipment, instruct patients on procedures, and record results.
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend hearing instruments, and perform follow-up examinations.
  • Position patients for treatments and conduct research in physiotherapy.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress and schedule appointments.
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices.
