Lead Environmental Engineer

RocMar Environmental Inc. is a prominent environmental consulting firm dedicated to providing exceptional services in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer / Industrial Hygienist to collaborate closely with our Engineering Division and report directly to our principals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site assessments and inspections to evaluate environmental conditions.
- Design and oversee remediation projects while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Supervise and guide field technical staff during project execution.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH).
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting.
- Experience in areas such as Water Damage Restoration, Fire Damage Restoration, and Microbial Remediation is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of hazardous materials and building science.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required, with a valid driver's license.
