Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Alliston Mobil. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assign sales staff to duties, including sales floor coverage, customer service, and visual merchandising.
  • Plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for our store.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Establish work schedules and manage payroll administration.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to sales staff.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff, ensuring they are meeting their responsibilities and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
