Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Mumbai Central is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our kitchen operations.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain our culinary standards.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Lead and train a team of kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Train Staff in Sanitation and Safety: Educate staff on proper sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to meet the needs of our kitchen operations.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure exceptional food and service.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Accurately maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform kitchen operations.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit reports on kitchen operations to inform management decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food service operations.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
