Retail Store Operations Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Clerk/Cashier at our Wine, Spirits, and Beer location in Big River, Saskatchewan.

Lake Country Co-op is a co-operative that operates in 20 different communities, providing a range of products and services to support our 54,680 member-owners. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong relationships with our members.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legendary service to customers through various touch points and communication channels
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility
- Suggestively sell add-on products in addition to liquor, including confectionary, fresh foods, and hardware
- Stock, arrange, and rotate liquor merchandise on shelves, stock beer coolers, and set up displays
- Operate electronic cash registers and other electronic devices, processing sales and receiving merchandise as required
- Perform opening and closing procedures, as well as asset protection responsibilities
Requirements:
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Liquor industry and retail sales experience, especially in the CRS, considered an asset
- Ability to lift and load products, with extensive physical labor required
- Flexible work schedule, including weekend and evening work
