About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Daniels Drypack Services. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles in residential settings, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tiles
  • Mix and apply adhesives using hand trowels
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a seamless finish
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Install tile strips and underbeds
Requirements
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be working in a residential setting with dusty and noisy conditions.
