We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the Woodland Wellness Centre in La Ronge, SK.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide therapy services to clients, including individual, family, and group sessions. They will also be responsible for assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- Assess client needs and develop strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in community development projects to enhance mental health services
- Provide crisis intervention services and emergency shelter referrals
- Implement and organize the delivery of specific services within the community
- Develop and deliver life skills workshops and presentations on mental health topics
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field
- 1-2 years' experience working in Counselling, Social Work, or related field
- Ability to counsel children, youth, and adults
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Required Professional Registration with a Regulatory Body
- Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset
- Ability to speak/understand Cree is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and own a reliable vehicle
