About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Home Worker to join our team at Celtic Community Homes Association. As a Group Home Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
  • Assess client skill strengths and development needs, and implement behavior management programs
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention, and resolve conflict situations
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Assist clients with special needs, and accompany them to appointments and social outings
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a group home setting, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
