Your Role and Contributions
In this position, you will:
- Plan, organize, motivate, and oversee the activities of a team of salaried employees within the Methods group.
- Exhibit leadership that aligns with the vision and values of Bombardier Aviation.
- Take on management responsibilities for your team, including financial oversight and achieving team objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using operational excellence principles and problem-solving methodologies.
- Mentor your team to cultivate talent within the organization.
- Collaborate closely with various departments such as Engineering, Program Management, Production, Logistics, Purchasing, and Quality to enhance change management, problem-solving, and product flow.
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- A university degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college degree with substantial experience in Methods.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in the aviation manufacturing sector.
- Strong management skills.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent judgment and a proactive approach.
- Flexibility, results-oriented mindset, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Highly motivated team player capable of working independently under pressure.
- Fluency in both French and English, with strong communication skills.
- Experience in a Green and Completion environment is advantageous.
