Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Manager to join our team at Acorn. As a key member of our Go To Market Team, you will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and expanding our partner ecosystem.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and corporate training solutions providers. This will involve cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners to drive mutual success and expand market reach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnership Development:
    • Identify and onboard new partners that align with Acorn's strategic business goals.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners.
    • Develop and implement joint business plans with partners.
  • Account Management:
    • Serve as the primary liaison between Acorn and our partners.
    • Regularly assess partner performance and provide insights and strategies for improvement.
    • Ensure partners are well-trained and provided with the necessary resources to effectively market and sell Acorn's solutions.
  • Sales Enablement:
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute partner-focused sales enablement programs.
    • Equip partners with comprehensive knowledge of Acorn's features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
    • Assist partners throughout the sales cycle.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management:
    • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements.
    • Oversee the contract renewal process.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Align partnership strategies with the overall goals of Acorn.
    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with partners.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Provide detailed reports and updates to senior management on the progress and impact of partnerships.
    • Proactively identify and address challenges in the partnership process.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Conduct ongoing market research to identify potential partners and assess the viability of new partnership opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or sales within the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, particularly in the LMS and PLMS domains.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple partner relationships and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Previous experience working with channel partners, resellers, or system integrators in the education or corporate training space.
  • Familiarity with Acorn or similar platforms in the learning management ecosystem.
