About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cashier Supervisor to join our team at IGA. As a Cashier Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of cashiers and ensuring the smooth operation of our cash handling processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of cashiers to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient cash handling procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and inventory management.
  • Train and evaluate team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Department Manager to achieve business objectives and ensure the department is running efficiently.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a cashier and proven leadership skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
