Position Summary:
This is an entry-level, part-time role. The Customer Service Representative in our Will Call Department is responsible for delivering outstanding service to all customers. By leveraging a comprehensive understanding of our offerings, the CSR creates a positive experience for both internal and external clients. Additionally, this role involves providing general administrative support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, acting as a representative of the company through daily interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of clients, products, and services.
- Record customer interactions and transactions accurately.
- Listen carefully to customer needs and concerns, demonstrating empathy.
- Process orders received via various channels in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle payments from Will Call customers and over-the-phone transactions.
- Professionally manage multi-line phone systems.
- Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers.
- Foster and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure clarity in service expectations.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all inquiries from associates, manufacturers, and customers.
- Build lasting relationships with customer accounts through open communication.
- Go above and beyond to meet customer needs and adapt to various requests.
- Manage customer databases, ensuring accurate records of interactions and documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills to proactively address and resolve issues.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
- Capable of managing challenging situations and dissatisfied customers calmly.
- Basic mathematical skills for transaction processing.
- Bilingual in French is preferred.
