Job Summary

Central Spring Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment, instructing apprentices, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment, including trucks and attachments
  • Instruct apprentices in equipment maintenance and repair techniques
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Order parts and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty, hot, and noisy environments
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Work Environment

As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will work outdoors in a variety of environments, including dusty, hot, and noisy conditions. You will be required to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor.
