Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at MY CARE COMPANION LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, hospitals, and other healthcare settings. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Transport patients to appointments and activities
  • Administer first aid and provide basic life support as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
