Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at MY CARE COMPANION LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, hospitals, or other care settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks
  • Provide transportation to appointments and outings
  • Administer medications and perform other tasks as assigned by healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
