About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Permitting Specialist to join our team at AtkinsRéalis Canada. As an Environmental Permitting Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects comply with environmental regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental plans and strategies to minimize environmental impacts.
- Conduct environmental assessments and prepare reports to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate environmental risks.
- Ensure that all environmental permits and licenses are obtained and maintained.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
